Various costs are involved in a funeral service. We maintain our costs at competitive rates and our pricing policy is in line with the code of practice of the Australian Funeral Directors Association. However, every funeral is a personal and
individual event and all costs are explained prior to
the funeral being conducted. The following are
the main costs of a Funeral Service. PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FEES These are the Funeral Directors fees and include all transfers (24 hours, 7 days), all costs relating to Funeral Procedures, Embalming, Dressing & Viewing, all documentation required for Cremation, Burial, Church Service, the use of our Chapel facilities, the hearse, one 7 seat Mourning Coach and liason with clergy, newspapers, florists and cemeteries. CEMETERY FEES Cemetery fees vary from cemetery to cemetery; and vary according to which cemetery facilities are used. Variations occur between cremation and burial, whether burial takes place in a lawn section or monumental section, and whether an existing grave is reopened or a new one is created. CERTIFIED COPY OF DEATH CERTIFICATE This is a standard fee set by the Registrar General's office. The Death Certificate is usually obtained within 7-10 days.
